Our story
It started with a group chat.
Every big celebration we'd ever been part of was run out of a group chat: a spreadsheet nobody updated, a budget in someone's head, screenshots of transfers, and a guest list that was three lists. The joy was real; the planning was chaos.
So we built Faajii — first a task tracker and a budget, then tickets and RSVPs, then a store, gift links and a purse, because every one of those was a thing hosts were doing by hand. Today it's one place for planners, guests, vendors and promoters alike.
We're based in Cotonou, Benin Republic, and Faajii is used across Benin, Nigeria and Côte d'Ivoire: francs and naira, Mobile Money and bank transfers, French and English, birthdays and weddings and concerts and the get-together nobody planned until Thursday.
